"This was a very interesting book to read. I felt a great deal of empathy for the ghost and the woman. It wasn't really a mystery about his murder, just his enlightenment about being a ghost. I feel terrible for the woman in the story as well. It isn't a "happy" book, but it is a very good book. And it does show how karma can be a byatch."

" I thought it was about how Facebook affected the lives of the characters in the story, but the title was a bit misleading. Plus, I had a difficult time enjoying the story. To be fair, I'll give this story 3 stars. "

" This was just not for me. Wasn't into the whole "magical realism" thing....way too many loosely connected storylines that weren't all resolved. Kept meeting new characters, but didn't end up really caring about any of them. Thought it was going to be more of a mystery, but wasn't a mystery at all. It definitely did get better as it went along, but not enough for me to recommend it. :( "

" It started out promising but I was disappointed the author never explained what the heck crazy woman was thinking or feeling or what her plan was. "

" Not what I expected from that title, and in the good way. It is humorous, yes, but also spiritual, character driven, and exciting. Everett Peacock is definitely an author I'd read more of.That title and cover don't do this involved story justice. "

" Not exactly what I expected when I started the book. But I was definitely hooked. I loved the Facebook references, the little folklore twist, the Hawaiian setting, very easy and quick to read. I dont want to ruin it for other readers though. I cant wait to read the other book as well. "

" A bit of a strange story - took a while for me to get intersetd in it as its not what I was expecting but eventually I did and it was ok. More of a 'will read on holiday' sort of book for me. "

" An interesting read and it approaches a topic I had not thought of, prearranged death announcments on FB. :) At any rate, there are a few mistake - hold for holed and brake for break, for instance - but in most cases, it doesn't interrupt the flow of the read. :) "
