"I read an ARC (Advance Readers Copy)and so this book is not out until June 2009. If you like British murder mysteries this is a good one. It's about human organ trafficking and it was a good read. It's long--500+ pages but it's a great airplane read." — Annie (4 out of 5 stars)

" Very good and love the reference to John Hannah and Ken Stott as Rebus. "
" This book perpetuates sexist stereotypes for both men and women. It is predictable in both plot and writing terms because it a choc-a-block full of cliches. There are far too many references to cars, their engine size and horse power which assumes the reader has an ounce of interest. The other cultural references seem shoe horned and unrealistic. The representation of teenagers is insulting and dire, as are the adult's reactions to them. I couldn't have disliked it less. "
" Decent book, not a bad plot, a bit unimaginative at the end with the "miracle" tip that leads to the conclusion "
" Really enjoyed it. Great plotting, fascinating topic. "
" What can I say. I liked, I loved it and then I loathed it. The book could have easily had three hundred pages missing and you could have picked up on the story from any point in the book. I only felt sorry for one character...that being Caitlin. And the first characters you met? Thought they would have been a bit more involved than they were. But I'd still read it if you like Peter James. Bit disappointed in the ongoing search for Sandy but with Roy's other great news it added a bit more happiness to his "existence" "
" Another gripping thriller!...A heartbreaking, thought provoking tale of human organ trafficking. "
" The relationship between Grace and Cleo is starting to get on my nerves for some reason. Quite obvious from the start what this one's going to be about but overall I enjoyed it. "
" Brilliant - could not put it down. Emailed the author to tell him and he actually emailed me back. "
" Good story. Enjoyed the detection. "
" I know it isn't a true story, but it really opened my eyes and made me think, that this stuff is going on. "
" I enjoyed this one the most. Lots of humanity in it and not so gruesome as previous ones. Reckon I can exactly place one of the final scenes to a favourite haunt of mine near our old home. "
" Fifth in the Roy Grace series from a brilliant writer who keeps you wanting to know what happens next then delivers brilliantly. "
" A very good plot which keeps your interest right up to the end. "
" Classy stuff as ever from Peter James. Superintendent Roy Grace finds himself investigating people traffickers with a nasty sideline in organ donation. A great piece of thriller writing which tells a superb and thought-provoking story. "
" the book was ok but I felt that there was to many characters and to much going on in the story for me "
" This is the fifth Roy Grace novel I have read in a row & I have to admit that I found the last couple, predictable. This one was not. A very sad story with a twist at the end. "
" I absolutely love Peter James ! And this one was really good. I'm always excited to read his novels. Ammmmazing "
" Mr James once again keeps up the good work in another Grace thriller. "
" So far, mysterious, heart breaking story of a street kid, a mother whose daughter is slowly dying without an organ, and a cop dealing with bodies found at sea with all their vital organs gone.hmm, association? "
" Didnt like this book as much as the others in the Roy Grace series but Peter James's short punchy chapters are so easy to read. They follow on so effortlessly that before you know it you've read more and more. "
" This book ended well, but it was at least 200 pages too long. At least 150 of those came at the begining of the book, it just dragged on and on. Pity really as I'm usually a die hard Peter James fan. "
" A thoroughly enjoyable read, well up to the author's usual standard. "
" Looking forward to the next one after the tantalizing glimpse of Sandy at the end... "
" Peter James just gets better and better!!!..this is keeping me up at night!...darn I need some sleep! "
