" *happy sigh* Funny how I enjoyed book 2 so much more than book 1. Must've been the secret agenting. :) And I think the h/h were both somehow more approachable, less perfect. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Lannie | 2/6/2014

" Enjoyed this book even more than the first. I love the pairing of Lilian and Gabe! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Maria | 2/4/2014

" The second in the Eclipse Bay series, it is at least as good as the first, both of which are wonderful. Ms. Krentz's trademark great dialogue (with a few minor exceptions) and wonderful characterization are here and the mystery is good but of less interest. I did wonder about Gabe's uncharacteristic involvement with AZ and her conspiracy theories. It jarred a bit, but on the whole, it was a funny addition to the plot, so I am going to ignore that it seemed so out of character for Gabe and just enjoy it as I do all Ms. Krentz's books. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Carla | 1/22/2014

" Cute, funny romance (albeit a bit dated) with a bit of a mystery. A likeable escape read. "

" Not a bad series by Krentz, but not her best. 2.5 stars because it was so predictable. "

" Second in this series which I read a while ago. Light, quick read. It doesn't go very far, but it's a pleasant enough journey short as it is. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Sharon | 7/8/2012

" A great follow-up to Eclipse Bay. I also really enjoyed Summer in Esclipe Bay. Great summer reads. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Jan | 7/5/2012

" Hot times in eclipse bay. Not a bad sequel but not my favorite of her books. The family feud is not as horrid as the jacket implies. "

" I started this trilogy years ago and forgot about it until recently. This is just a easy read that takes me to the Oregon Coast. Even if it is a make believe town. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Mem | 7/16/2011

    " Eclipse Bay # 2 "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Aimee | 5/9/2011

" 2.5 Meh. Started off interesting, got boring halfway through. Then it had an ending I didn't like one bit; forced resolution is never a WIN in my book. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Becky | 5/9/2011

" Again - I read the first of the series so I knew that I was going to read this as well - I thought the first was okay and I thought this one was perhaps marginally better than it. However, still a predictable love-story. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Lesley | 2/18/2011

" I liked this book, like the series, but I swear, if I read one more "Hartes this" or "Madisons that" statement, I will scream! I can't even think about reading the next one yet, because I just can't take any more sweeping generalizations about these two families. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Darci | 11/22/2010

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 ST | 6/26/2009

" This is like a movie; everything ends up happily ever after. It was too perfect. The story was bland. It's not a page-turner and I was very disappointed with the ending. Not recommended. 1/5 stars. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Carrie | 4/13/2009

" Not bad, especially good secondary characters, but I don't know if that was enough to make me want to go back and read the rest of the series. "
