Publisher Description

Malcolm of Dunroch is a newly chosen Master, a novice with extraordinary and dangerous powers. But he has alreadybroken his vows, and a young woman's death is on his hands. Malcolm is determined to fight his darkest desires, denying himself all pleasure until fate sends him another Innocent, the beautiful book-seller Claire Camden.

Since her mother's murder, Claire has done everything possible to make a safe, secure life for herself in a city where danger lurks on every street corner, especially in the dark of night. But nothing can prepare her for the powerful and sexually magnetic medieval warrior who sweeps her back into his time: a treacherous, frightening world where the hunters and the hunted are one and the same. Claire needs Malcolm to survive, yet she must somehow keep the dangerously seductive Master at arm's length. For Malcolm's soul is at stake, and fulfilling his desires could prove fatal.

" Le di a este libro tres estrellas porque disfruto el trama de la novela; sin embargo, no se si fue la traduccion del libro que no tiene la fluidez que deberia uno de disfrutar al momento de la lectura. Con este libro tuve que leer varias veces algunos de los parrafos para poder entender de lo que se estaba hablando o de lo que se queria dar a entender. Este libro es el primero que leo de esta autora y ojala que los siguientes libros hayan mejorado. Me gusta cuando el trama es de viajes en el tiempo. "

" I really wanted to give this book more than a 3. Though, I love anything highlands and time travel and story sounded promising and interesting enough but just couldn't really get into. It took me a long time to finished this book. This's another one of the book that I was just hovering over it. I will keep on reading though & hope that the next book is going to be better?? "

" I read the first few chapters and I just gave up. I found the story too supernatural for my liking. Although it is meant to be supernatural, it sort of exceeded my bar of expectations... Other than that, I found the book written at a very fast pace, it's like a surprise and then another too quickly. I didn't enjoy it a single bit. So, just a star for this book. "

" Inexplicable lust and a little too much "dripping down her thighs" makes this bodice-ripper a bit over the top for me....the sex scenes were laughable and though I like time travel, this is not very well conceived. "

" I had to surrender reading this book. I don't mind sex in books but when I read about her wetness dripping down her legs about 10 times in the first 1/4th of the book, it gets to be distracting to the point that there is no storyline. "
