Aidan, the Wolf of Awe, has abandoned the Brotherhood and forsaken his vows. Feared by all and trusted by none, he hunts alone, seeking vengeance against the evil that destroyed his son. He has not saved an Innocent in 66 years - until he hears Brianna Rose's scream of terror across centuries, and leaps to modern-day Manhattan to rescue her....

Brie is a gifted empath who spends her time fighting evil from the safety of her laptop - and fantasizing about the medieval Highlander she met just once. Still, her life is pretty ordinary - until she awakens one night consumed with Aidan's pain and rage. When Aidan suddenly appears and takes her hostage, Brie cannot believe how dark and dangerous he has become. She knows she should be afraid, but instead, she will fight across time for his redemption...and his love. Download and start listening now!

" WARNING!!!...Do not start reading this Series "The Masters of Time" if you have anything you need to get done. I just finished up Book 3;("Dark Embrace")after just starting it this morning. These men are dangerously addictive so heed my advice! C-ya =) "

" Aidan's story was one I was really excited to read, but it was not what I had hoped. Brenda Joyce seems to have a thing for writing about men who need to be "fixed" and the women who want to do it have to endure humiliation before they "fix" their men. The second book in the series was better as far as that. Her heroines are supposed to be these strong twenty-first century women, but they all seem needy and clingy. I'm not saying that the storyline wasn't good, it was. I mean I've read 3 out of the 5 books, and I like the premise of the Masters of Time, but I'm just tired of her women who are strong one minute, and wimpy the next. At one point I want the man to feel a little bad about the rude way he's treating this woman who is trying to save his life. I want to continue the series since I do like the plots. I just hope that the next one gives me a less wimpy woman. "

" I didn't like this one. The first two books were way better. Too drawn out about the son. "

" I really liked how they didn't just fall in love and jump in bed right away so it helped with giving you a story line to get lost in. I will read the rest of the books. "

" I really wanted to like this book more. Aidan was a fav in the past series, but he really went down a dark trail. I didn't care for Brianna either. Too boring for my fav character....oh well. "

" This one was my least fave of the the series. I wasn;t feeling the love between the two main characters and the story seemed rushed and blah. I am however looking forward to Tabby's story which comes out next March. "

" Absolutely loved this entire series. Joyce is a bit recurring with her theme, but that's sort of the point. Very romantic, heated, sometimes cheesy, dramatic, and quite actiony. Scottish accents. <3 Highlanders who have superhuman powers? Joyce brings this cheesiness to life very very nicely. "

" I am listening to this book and I am having a really problem with Aidan's brogue. It is distracting and at times it is hard to understand. I just signed up for Audible, but I don't think I will be getting any more Highlander books from them -

    "
