About James Swallow

James Swallow is a bestselling author whose writing includes the Sundowners series of Western fiction steampunk novels and fiction from the worlds of Star Trek, Warhammer 40,000, Doctor Who, and Stargate, among others.

About the Narrators

Mark McDonnell is a voice actor, best known for playing Alby Brook in the Dalek Empire audio series. He has also performed in numerous productions for BBC Radio Four and is an active stage actor.

Barnaby Edwards is an actor perhaps best known for his role as a Dalek Operator in the new BBC Wales series. He has also worked as a director, writer, and actor for several Big Finish Productions audio dramas, and contributed to the reference book, Impossible Worlds, Impossible Things.

James Langton, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and later as a musician at the Guildhall School in London. He has worked in radio, film, and television, also appearing in theater in England and on Broadway. He is also a professional musician who led the internationally renowned Pasadena Roof Orchestra from 1996 to 2002.
