" This was a little different than Wilhelm's other Barbara Halloway books, in that there was no court room drama. I enjoyed it a great deal! "

" I like Kate Wilhelm - her books are fun, they have great characters I enjoy following through various books and the plots are just tangled enough that it's fun to try and figure out the twist before the main character does. "

" rather slow moving mystery - who killed the talented yet evil surgeon who wants to take over the clinic? "

" My husband liked it, but I found it to be a disappointing mystery--by a highly acclaimed Northwest author. Too many characters, not enough depth, and a smooshed-together ending with an unconvincing motive.

Jette, you might like this author because her books take place in Eugene! "
