Sadie Turner is not a control freak, just...orderly. When a cheating spouse topples Sadie's impeccably tidy world, she packs up her kids for a summer vacation at her aunt's lake house, hoping to relax, reboot, and pick up the pieces away from men. All men. But eccentric Aunt Dody has other plans: she's determined to see Sadie have a little fun - with Desmond, the sexy new neighbor.

Tall, tanned, muscular - and even great with her kids - Desmond is Sadie's worst nightmare. He must have a flaw - he's a man, after all - so Sadie vows to keep her distance. But as summer blazes on, their attraction ignites, and the life Sadie is trying so hard to simplify only gets more complicated.... But maybe a little chaos is just what she needs to get her future, and her dreams of love, back in order.

" My 3-F review. Fun! Flirty! Fresh! Love me some Brogan. Looking forward to more from this author! "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Kristy | 2/12/2014

" Pretty simple, predictable romantic comedy, but it was entertaining and I think I got it for free on my kindle. "

" Pure fluff....but that is what I was shooting for after some heavy reading of late. Some parts were pretty witty and I did laugh outloud but I had trouble figuring out what exactly Des saw in Sadie that made him fall for her. She was a little over the top nuts and I didn't find her very likable...she just wasn't quite developed enough for me. Nice little beach book... "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Audrey Lambert | 2/7/2014

" Funny, laugh out loud, get back on the horse kind of story. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Kimberly Kincaid | 2/7/2014

" This book is both funny and poignant, and Tracy Brogan's voice carries it strongly from start to finish. Sadie is easy to relate to, Aunt Dody is utterly hilarious, and Des is just a yummy, yummy hero. A strong secondary cast and a charming setting round this one out perfectly. Definite keeper! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Anne | 2/3/2014

" This was such a cute story! I was highly entertained and did not want to put it down! But a warning: don't read this book if you have a cough because all the laughing I did sent me into several coughing fits. I need to disinfect my kindle now. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Dawn | 1/30/2014

" Predictable romance but with quite a few sarcastic bits of humor thrown in. Good beach read. And it's set in MICHIGAN! :) "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Samhita | 1/30/2014

" Ok, this woman has a lovely style that is funny and intelligent! This book is like a refreshing Pinot Grigio with a hint of melon bouquet. It's the equivalent of flannel pajamas and fuzzy slippers at the end of a hectic day when you can just curl up and read. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Melissa | 1/28/2014

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Dena | 1/2/2014

" Ended up to be a great book. Was slow at times but the story was nice. I really enjoyed all the crazy little characters that made me feel at home. The ex was a total douche with a capital D but I am so glad he wasn't in it that much. I love the Doc. He seemed dark and mysterious. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Robyn | 12/29/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jenny | 12/28/2013

" Really more like a 3.5, but I'll round up. It was a pretty cheesy and predictable rom-com novel (and the main character was a bit of a drama queen), but it was amusing and a fun quick read. Good beach book I would say. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Shawn | 12/26/2013

" I had a lot of fun reading this book. It was a silly, witty romance, which I never read. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could easily see this being turned into a screenplay. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Diane Nagatomo | 12/22/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jane | 10/27/2012
