Publisher Description

Bell Harbor is a one-million copy bestselling series.

If Sadie Turner is good at anything, it’s putting stuff in order. So when she finds her “perfect” life in disarray, she hopes a summer vacation at her aunt’s lake house will help her piece it back together. She wants to relax, reboot, and heal the wounds left by her cheating ex-husband. And that requires time away from men. All men.

Or so she thinks.

With two slobbering dogs and two cousins living there—one a flamboyant decorator intent on making over Sadie—it’s hard to get a moment’s peace at eccentric Aunt Dody’s house, especially with everyone so determined to set her up with Desmond, the sexy new neighbor.

Desmond is Sadie’s worst nightmare. Tall, tanned, muscular…and to top it off, he’s great with her kids. But he must have a flaw—he’s a man—so Sadie vows to keep her distance.

As summer blazes on, the life Sadie is trying so hard to simplify only becomes more complicated—a new career presents itself, her evil ex haunts her, and Aunt Dody reveals a tragic secret—but maybe a little chaos is just what Sadie needs to get her life back in order.

"This book is both funny and poignant, and Tracy Brogan's voice carries it strongly from start to finish. Sadie is easy to relate to, Aunt Dody is utterly hilarious, and Des is just a yummy, yummy hero. A strong secondary cast and a charming setting round this one out perfectly. Definite keeper!"

" Pure fluff....but that is what I was shooting for after some heavy reading of late. Some parts were pretty witty and I did laugh outloud but I had trouble figuring out what exactly Des saw in Sadie that made him fall for her. She was a little over the top nuts and I didn't find her very likable...she just wasn't quite developed enough for me. Nice little beach book... "

" This was such a cute story! I was highly entertained and did not want to put it down! But a warning: don't read this book if you have a cough because all the laughing I did sent me into several coughing fits. I need to disinfect my kindle now. "

" Ok, this woman has a lovely style that is funny and intelligent! This book is like a refreshing Pinot Grigio with a hint of melon bouquet. It's the equivalent of flannel pajamas and fuzzy slippers at the end of a hectic day when you can just curl up and read. "

" Ended up to be a great book. Was slow at times but the story was nice. I really enjoyed all the crazy little characters that made me feel at home. The ex was a total douche with a capital D but I am so glad he wasn't in it that much. I love the Doc. He seemed dark and mysterious. "

" Really more like a 3.5, but I'll round up. It was a pretty cheesy and predictable rom-com novel (and the main character was a bit of a drama queen), but it was amusing and a fun quick read. Good beach book I would say. "
