Chloe Turner thought she was going to marry the perfect man - until her fiancé's plane crashed. And then she got the really bad news: he'd tried to fake his own death to avoid marrying her. Now America's most famous bridezilla (a tag she most definitely does not deserve), Chloe escapes to a remote island to avoid the paparazzi. And right next door is a man who just might be the cure for Chloe's heartache....

A magnet for wild, complicated women, Max Sullivan is relieved to have finally found someone normal. Chloe is his girl-next-door fantasy come to life, and best of all, she gets him. With her, he can be himself, a treasure-hunting millionaire who desperately wants out of his sexy but reckless job. But when Chloe's notoriety catches up with them, will their torrid romance make it to the mainland?

" Good book and a strong call to action. I see why Francis Chan and David Platt have buddied up more over the years. They really have similar ideas and visions for the Church. The real question is, will people just read their books and feel convicted, or will they actually do something? "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Thomas B. | 2/17/2014

" I absolutely loved this book. I proposed purchasing, at my expense, a copy for every family in our congregation. Although he had read the book, he choose not to take me up on that offer. But I think that my offer shows how much I loved this book. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Simone | 2/16/2014

" Don't read it if you don't want to be challenged! "

" Radical and freeing! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and my introduction to Francis Chan. Amazing read and confirmation on the faith journey God has laid out for my life. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 George Berkeley | 1/31/2014

" Disastrous. Cliche after cliche, and a maximal amount of unsupported statements. Not worth the time. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 MaryAnne | 1/2/2014

" Everybody should read this! Simple and strong message that sticks. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Lila Spengler | 11/26/2013

" Fairly straightforward and basic; a good reminder of the Biblical perspective of God's relationship with us and what should be our natural response of obedience "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Susana Guerra | 8/22/2013

" I will be honest... I didn't enjoy this book as much as I think i should have... My brother absolutely loves and believes in this book. Maybe at some other point in my life, I will go back and re-read it and think differently of it. Some great points, but i just was not captured by the author... "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Sean | 7/25/2013

" Equal parts helpful reminder about the God we serve and pietistic sentimentality. God saw fit to give me this book through a free kindle download, now THAT'S crazy love. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Scott Worden | 7/16/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Stacy | 6/1/2013

" A great thinking book that brings verses, Biblical times/situations and how we've skewed the two. It was challenging but encouraging. I'm daily reminded to pray for God's will and is this what I want to be/doing when Jesus returns? "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Rebecca | 3/15/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jaimie | 2/29/2012
