" Great information, but glad it's over. "

" Codependent is my middle name so I was eager to read this book and learn how to control my co-dependency. Sadly I found the book poorly written, dated and riddled with references to god. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jill | 1/24/2014

" I didn't like how this book focused so heavily on spouses of alcoholics but it contains important information and advice for anyone who has been or is in a relationship (marriage, friendship, family member) with an addict or depressed individual. It serves as a survival guide for the people that find themselves drawn to people with problems and drowning in others issues. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Shannon Hale | 1/21/2014

" Despite constant typographical errors, I thought this book was very well written with good insight as to why some people behave the way they do. "

" Found this really helpful. I bet it could help you, too. In fact, I will loan you my copy. Even if you don't want it. Or I could buy it for you, even though I can't afford it. Don't walk away! I'll give you $20 if you read it. I know it will help you. You need help. Don't worry about me. I'm fine. Now. "

" This book will probably help a lot of people but it is mostly dedicated to people living with alcoholics. It shows a long list of examples but didn't give general explanations that could be useful. "
