"While reading the book I could not stop laughing. When I read how she cut her friends hair and her own it took me back to when I was a young girl. I can rememeber cutting my hair and my mom getting so mad. Clementine has such a loving heart and most people do not understand her. She sees life in a different way. I really want to read the other books."

" This is such a silly, fun book. It's meant for a much younger juvenile audience (those who like Junie B. Jones). It's just hard not to like Clementine. I read the whole book in about an hour. I can also heartily recommend the audio version, too! "

" I probably would have given this book 4 stars, but I think my expectations were too high. Clementine is a lovable character and her adventures are hilarious. I would recommend it to girls who liked Junie B. and are a little bit young for Ramona. "

" Cute, but too much like Junie B. Jones books. Clementine probably has ADHD, but in a good way, as in she has good reasons for what she does. She is in third grade, and is nice. She always says, "Okay, fine." "

" Poor Clementine, she really tries hard to help her friend, but somehow, noone appreciates her efforts. Similar to Beverly Cleary's Ramona books, but a bit more modern in portraying families. "

" Very nearly as good as Ramona! The first-person narrative makes it a little less genuine, and there are a few language affectations that might get a little tiresome after a couple books, but Clementine is a great character. I've already read some aloud to one of my students, and she loved it. "

" These are really cute stories. I'm actually listening to them on audiobook and have been enjoying the narrator as well. These would be fun books to read aloud with kids, but I think some of the humor would be even funnier to adults as they get a glimse into the logic of a spunky eight year old. "
