" These books always bring me back to the time I lived in NC. I have truly enjoyed everyone of Maron's books. I feel like I know her family and the surrounding community so reading these books is just enjoyable. This story is interesting and well done. I did not suspect the real killer (s) until the pieces all started adding up. "

Christmas Mourning was a good mystery and there were enough story lines woven within to keep the interest level up. The nieces and nephews gift to their beloved aunt, the death of a high schooler, and an older mystery that surfaces...all are dealt with and worked through... To me the resounding lesson in this book is that nothing ever stays a secret and the price is always too high..... "
