Publisher Description

The Greatest is Love.

God wants us to love our neighbors. If this is the premise of being Christian, then why do thousands of denominations claim to be the right and true one, implying that all others are false? The author searches for truth and explores real-world issues concerning Christians throughout history and today, and the future of Christianity in this ever-changing world. Join the author as he challenges you to think outside of your comfort zone and questions what you might have been told not to question about the Word of God.

This book contains many facts and true stories, some you might recognize and some from the author's own life, as he logically discusses controversial subjects such as a perfect Bible, sex, lying, killing, ethics, Christian leadership, Bible-thumping judgment, and women's rights. It is well documented and written in easy-to-understand language to arm you with the knowledge you need to discuss scripture in an educated and meaningful way, and to develop a real-world perspective of Christianity; a must-listen for all who profess to be Christian!

"I really enjoyed this book. It is refreshing to get an out of the box perspective on structured religions and how some members often berate religions outside of their own like competition, and how often Christians get caught up in pomp and circumstance. All we need is love. WWJD? Why, spread the love, of course! So simple. How sad when people spread venom instead, even in some of the book reviews I have read here. So many unhappy Christians spread unhappiness. The author is an honorable Christian who invites us to love each other and learn an interesting philosophy here. Some really enjoyable personal stories with valuable lessons here! Two thumbs up! Thanks, Scott!"

" I've been a big fan of this great man for many years and am pleased to listen to this audio book. Whether I agree with him on everything does not matter. What matters is that Scott is kind to others and has always been a gracious man, and we have prayed together many times. God bless him for sharing his love of Christ with others. "

" After listening to the narrator bring to life the controversies of a good and ethical man like Scott, I am encouraged to and inspired to face challenges in my life. Thanks to Scott Haraburda for a wonderful book about the true meaning of Christianity. True Christians do not speak evil nor do they judge each other. "

" I have proclaimed myself a Christian for many years and must admit I have had trouble understanding the conflicting messages of the Bible. But with Dr. Haraburda's research and depth, I am provided great insight into following the steps of Jesus Christ, and how being gracious and non-judgmental is good for the soul. May God bless. "

" I don't usually put a book down but this one is filled with stories I could not keep down or resist! It reads like a best seller! One daughter a deaf-mute, one has illegitimate children, and one bed-ridden! As they make their way back for a Christian camp to learn venom and hate! Maybe that the devil's doings? They going to burn in hell. And no one gots a college degree there. Why they not? They is too stoopid! So he leave them and abandon them. Amen! Now he happy and NEVER LOOK BACK. "

" This is a great book. The author overcame many challenges in life such as a mentally sick, bully sister who lost her ability to walk after a drug bust in East Grand Rapids. She still talks about her Christian rebirth, a topic in this book, so now she is called "Mouth." This story makes a great Christian book and the controversies of judgment abound.. "

" The narrator of the audio book is perfect and really brings the book to LIFE! And the book offers a great perspective on what it means to be Christian. The message is simple: Follow the teachings of Jesus -- LOVE IT. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one. You'll be glad you did! "

" Not too many times in my life do I put a book down before it's finished. This book I kept forcing myself to read hoping we'd get beyond the pompous arrogance of the writer (he's no author). Unfortunately for me, and the many trees that died to "make his dream a reality" - this book was a waste of his time in writing, my time in reading & the lives of the trees he killed to publish something that'd be better as toilet paper. The writer is obviously struggling with his own personal life choices and using this medium to justify his soul burning in hell for eternity. The 10 Commandments weren't suggestions and to purport some of the chaotic suppositions brought forth by Mr. Haraburda - I fear for the souls of those questioning who seek answers reading this garbage. And, it's obvious we should all fear for Mr. Haraburda's afterlife as well - regardless of how many awards he has or the obvious mental illness he suffers. Stay away from this book - as far away as possible! And be utterly grateful you aren't someone from his past that he's referenced because it's flat out embarrassing. "

" I've just completed reading the book by author Scott S. Haraburda, and am very impressed! It's obvious much research and thought went into this book, and I thoroughly enjoyed the author's personal stories. Some from his career are lessons for all of us, and the one from his childhood where he discussed his elementary schooling in a Catholic school and the treatment received from a nun there was presented it in a most amusing way, even though this touches on a truly common issue back in the 1960's. This is one of the best and most original philosophy books I have ever read, and I highly recommend it! I eagerly look forward to hearing the audio version. "
