" I was pleasantly surprised with how well done the story was. I loved the quotes from the original Jane Eyre at the beginning of each chapter - it lent a feeling of connection between the classic and the new, and you could see how the modern day Janie felt connected to her favorite heroine, Jane. " This was a fun escape. The main character is delightful with a cute sense of humor. The plot follows Jane Eyre (hence the parody). "

" Not a fan. WAY too sappy for me. Not my favorite genre. I almost decided not to read it after the first 10 pages, but was desperate for something to read and I knew it would be quick. "
