Publisher Description

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul II offers more inspiring stories to help you master the game we call life. Today's teens have ever more issues and social pressures to juggle than young adults just 20 years ago. This book, like its predecessor, can be your guide, a beacon in the darkness, a safe haven in a storm, a warm hug in the cold and a respite from loneliness. There's no preaching as to what you should and shouldn't do. " Growing up is tough. Sometimes you just need to know that you're not alone out there. Which is why I think, on some levels, this book worked. The most invaluable lessons for me came from Mary Schmich's Ladies and Gentlemen of the Class of '97: Do one thing every day that scares you. Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Keep your old letters. Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your own living room. Accept certain inalienable truths: Prices will rise. Politicians will philander. You, too, will get old. "
