Changelings Audiobook

" Slow to start but was good after that. I enjoyed the first 2 Petabee novels but missed the third. This is the 4th. I need to go back and read the 3rd. It probably have been better if I'd read the one before it. "

" First off, take a look at that cover.... looks to me like those are two adults on that book wouldn't you say? Well the book is about two children. It was still an interesting book/concept, but it was on a different level than I was expecting since I thought it was about two adult siblings, not two pre-teen children. "

" I don't really know who this is for. It's so bland and simplistic it's hard to imagine that an actual person wrote it. With so many more sophisticated fantasies even for younger readers, this one isn't worth the time it takes to turn the pages. Yawn. "

" The half human , half selkie twins grown to their teens on the sentient planet Petaybee. A scientific team tries to capture them to treat them as specimens and theey are shipped off to space while still young enough to go. But their troubles are not over. "

" I love reading Anne McCaffrey. This one blends perfectly her mix of science and fantasy (my preference). Sometimes it has some dialogue that is a little too juvenile for my taste, but what the heck! If you read the first book about Petaybee, you'll want to read this one, too! My next step is the sequel. "

" These 10-yr-olds think and act like 13-14 year olds. While this is partially explained in the introduction, it is not emphasized enough to make the twins' age believable. Beyond that, this is a good book that McCaffrey and Scarborough fans will enjoy. "
