"I wasn't sure I was going to like this for two reasons. One, I'm not a Survivor fan. Two, in the beginning you're introduced to a TON of different characters. When you have that many, it's hard to develop them well. I think the author did a nice job of fleshing out most of them enough that you still got to know them, even though they might not have been in the story for long. Once I got through the first third of the book, the next two thirds flew. Still won't beat the zombie stories as my favorite Keene books, but this one was pretty good!"

" If you're looking for great literature, this isn't it. But if you'd like a quick, entertaining read with a lot of grossness, (Is that even a word?) then you might want to give this one a try. "

" This book won't light anyones world on fire but it was an enjoyable read. Premise is like the show Survivor but imagine a cyclone hits and the there is an indiginous species on the island and they don't like the castaways. It was a little too gory for my taste but other than that if you like a good horror read then I would reccomend. "

" A must read for crypto-heads. If you're a Howard Stern fan, you'll appreciate the reference to two of the show's favorite goofballs. "

" This is a great idea, to have a bunch of people be on a TV show like Survivor, but to also be attacked by cannibals that no one knows about...until it's too late. I love the Troy character, the chronic dirty mouth. He's a lot like me! "

" This book is like reading a cheezy made-for-tv movie. Sorry Keene fans - interesting concept realized in a lazy writing manner... It was a good lunch time read, since my attention span is short and pained during the work day.... "

" Troy was by far my favorite character in a beer goggle kind of way. This frantic fast-paced novel is set on an island riddled with a primitive tribe of pinheaded organ eating throwbacks. If Survivor as a game show was half as gory as the one portrayed here, I would have been a weekly addict. "

" Crappy horror. I read crappy horror when I don't have the energy for anything else (even crappy sci-fi and crappy mysteries seem to require more effort), and, I've noticed, when I'm already in a bad mood anyway. Meh. "

" This book was solid. Not awesome, but certainly not bad. Rather gruesome for my tastes, but the pace was fast and the story was quite engaging. The ending is a little improbable, but happy. Happy is good (although a little unexpected for a horror novel). "
