"This was a little different for Tess Gerritsen. It still had all the suspense of her previous novels, but it also felt very much like a romance. It was a good read that kept me reading and wanting to find out what happens. I liked it."

" I agree with the others that this was not one of her best books. There is a lot of action and some novel situations, but she doesn't develop the characters as well in this book. Still, it was easy enough to stick with to the end. "

" It was an OK read but not one of her best. There were a few twists and turns but they weren't really surprises and it seemed a bit Mills & Boon'ish in places, I found the main female character quite annoying after the first few chapters. "

" It doesn't even come close to her astounding Rizzoli and Isles series. It's mostly a romance with thriller bits thrown into the mix. A bit far-fetched to imagine a guy like Nick going through hell and high water just for love, but at least it's an easy read. "
