"I thought the true voices of Wild Bill and Babe came through. Allowing both of these men to tell their version of the events leading up to and after WWii when they formed their friendship seemed to give a more complete view of how things were. I really enjoyed learning of how their friendship blossomed post-war and how they've grown up together. I had worried that I had heard it all about Easy Company with all of the other books I've read on this topic, but I was wrong of course. Everyone has a story to tell and I enjoyed hearing theirs."

kid, grew up in South Philly and went on to become brothers in battle
and best of friends with Edward “Babe” Heffron.
Edward “Babe” Heffron, a U.S. paratrooper during World War II, was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers,
