"I loved this book, it gave the vampire story a new twist. Dom is a vampire who is haunted by events in his past had on control over and MacKenzie is the woman he falls in love with. Mackenzie is a really strong character who takes on crap from anyone and finds a way to love and help Dom. If you love a really great vampire romance this book will be right up your street."

" I liked this, but it was just ok for me. I'd give it 2.5 stars. The characters were interesting enough and I like the authors take on vampires. My one and only major complaint is the dialogue was too cheesy in parts (a lot of parts!) and the romance was only ok for me.It's a good series starter though and I'll probably read the next book in the series. " I enjoyed this book. It was a little predictable but still good. It reminds me of the Midnight Breed Series a lot. The main characters were likeable. I will read the next one in the series. It was the typical vampire story though. "

" A new version on vampires. While I had read that the author was closer to the "old school" of romance, the books on this series seem to be closer to the new school. No delicate flowers waiting to be raped into falling in love here. Pay attention to the Lily character for the following book! "

" SO did not feel this. Romance novel spackled with rote vampire overlay. "

" This was good. Basically you're typical vamp-human love story with a little twist. It started to get a little heavy with the "You're my savior. You're so perfect. You're my love." And every little detail wrapped up a little too perfectly for me, but I still enjoyed it. "

" Once the characters get together about half way through the book I lost interest. I finished it, though, mostly because I was interested in Lily. I may or may not read more in the series. "

" It started out slow and iffy, but by the time we hit the feel good HEA I had a big stupid grin on my face. I definitely recommend it, it won't be everyones cup o' tea, but those of whom that it hits the right note for will really enjoy it. "
