Will her killer fashion sense prove fatal?

So Carlotta Wren’s life hasn’t turned out as she’d planned. She didn’t plan for her parents to skip bail for a white-collar crime, leaving her to raise her brother. She didn’t plan on having the silver spoon ripped from her mouth and forgoing college to work retail. She didn’t plan on her blue-blood fiancé dumping her. And she didn’t plan on still being single ten years later, working at Neiman Marcus, with no idea where her fugitive parents are. But she’s coping. Until…

…her lovable brother is arrested, and the hunky cop decides to reopen her parents’ case.

…her brother becomes a body mover for the morgue, and his sexy boss gets Carlotta involved.

…her former fiancé’s wife (a good customer) is murdered, fingering Carlotta.

With three men in her life, Carlotta has added motivation to help bag a murderer to keep her own well-dressed body from being next on the list!

"It's an okay mystery. Not quite as intense as a James Patterson nor is it your typical cozy. I like the fact that, even though Carlotta is the main character it is somewhat more of an ensemble rather than just one central character. I'm looking forward to what the rest of the series has to offer. Was her father really guilty or just a coward? Which guy will she choose - the rich ex boyfriend, the hunky ex-coroner or the surly detective?"

" Not in the same league as Evanovich, for sure, but adequate brain candy. Cute characters and setting, but not much substance. I have one more in this series and them will probably not read any more. "

" This book was a great beach read. A light suspense with at little bit of romance thrown in. It was recommended to me because I liked the One for the Money series, and it was very similar. Parts had me laughing and I had trouble putting it down! "

" This series is awesome! It has mystery, action and romance. The story line is strong through out the whole series. Carlotta gets herself into some pretty tight situations. The author really keeps you hooked. The first time I read this I was hooked and finished it one day. I definitely recommend this series! "

" The characters in this book are a little to fictional for my taste. I was often annoyed by how they talked about they needed money and yet Wesley, the brother hid money instead of helping to pay bills or pay off his debt. "
