Publisher Description

All Stacy Justice wants to do is recover from the bizarre couple of weeks she's had - the whirlwind kicked off by the fire at her cousin's bar, the Black Opal. But just when life is settling down, 14-year-old Ivy appears on her doorstep, claiming to be her sister. Ivy insists their mother is in danger and Stacy's magic is the key to saving her. Sure, Ivy shares Stacy's fiery hair and green eyes - but is she really her sister? And can the secretive teen be trusted with the family magic?

Then a man turns up dead at the bed-and-breakfast run by Stacy's grandmother, the family's Blessed Book goes missing, and it seems someone is out to kill Stacy - again. So she has no choice but to follow Ivy's lead.

"I thought this book was better than the first one in the series. Both books were well written and interesting to read, but the second story seemed more interesting to me. I would have liked to see more Cin in this one, since she seems to be a great character. I look forward to reading the third one."

" This is okay, the characters are well thought out and the idea is sound. I just could not get into it for some reason. I really wanted to, the cover is really cute and it just sounded so good. Maybe I will try and read it again another time when I am in a different mood. "
