" I enjoyed these books, although I did think they were very similar in many ways to The Wheel of Time. Although still original enough to keep me interested. "

" I only read the first one. I enjoyed the story very much but I felt the author went a little over board on the disturbing sexual abuses. It seemed an easy way to get your audience to hate the antagonists. From what my sister told me of the second book, I didn't think I could stomach the second one. Though I did want to continue the story. "
