Thea Osborne and her spaniel, Hepzie, are house-sitting in the quiet village of Temple Guiting. Detective Superintendent Phil Hollis is looking forward to visiting for a night or two and celebrating the couple's anniversary.

A few days into their stay, a pile of human bones is discovered at the base of an uprooted tree. The locals all have their theories about their identity and rumours abound. Thea and Phil discover that the village turns out to have more than its fair share of secrets, including a strong connection to the Knights Templar.

The couple finds their relationship tested to the limits as they try to prevent another murder investigation from threatening the quiet solitude they hold so dear. Download and start listening now!

" Not a bad little whodunnit. The ending seemed a little bit rushed though. "

" this is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be the last. It takes someone who is having aquiet time house sitting and thrusts them into a murder when a body is found underneath a dislodged tree. Add in her boyfreiend with a bad back and the scen is set. "

" A light-hearted read and I only read these books because I have got to know the Cotswold area fairly well. The plot is a bit thin but OKish. "
