About Larry Collins
Larry Collins (1929–2005) was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, and was a graduate of Yale University. He was for more than ten years a foreign correspondent in North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, first for UPI and then for Newsweek, for which he was Paris bureau chief.
About Burt Reynolds
Burt Reynolds began his acting career on Broadway and in television Westerns before his breakout film performance in Deliverance. His other leading roles include films such as The Longest Yard, Hustle, Gator, Smokey and the Bandit, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Striptease, and Boogie Nights, for which he earned a Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination.
