Listener Opinions

" Big Nate is happy to be the captain of an intramural sports team, but of course things don't go as planned. Big Nate is a fun book to read, Peirce gets so many things about middle school and middle schoolers. The situations Nate gets into are completely plausible, if a little silly. The adults are portrayed a bit as caricatures, but they are very close to the perceptions of middle school age kids. These books are fun to read, with likable characters in situations most people can identify with. An excellent choice for those who enjoyed the Wimpy Kid books--just better. "

" Not as laugh-out-loud as Big Nate, but very enjoyable. The things that go through Nate's head seem so believable for a boy his age! "

" It was okay i guess. Not a big fan of comics. A little too easy. "

" I thought it was a god book about a kid who gets teased by his friends and gets tortured by all of his teachers but in the end everything works out just the way he wants it to. "
