"This was a great lighthearted cozy. Kitzi is a former senator, inspirational speaker and hobby beader. The plot centers around Bead camp and is full of fun. Sadly, this author passed away in 2005 and book 2 in this series is co-authored. "

" You know those characters who just keep doing stupid things and you want to smack them? Well, that's the main character in this one. I found the whole situation and resolution ludicrous. "

" This book was a very light read. The camp setting brought back memories of my own camp days, and I learned a little bit more about beading, which I'd love to be able to do sometime. "

" A cute little mystery novel. I liked Kitzi and her friends, and the story was good enough. I don't foresee hunting down anymore of the beading mysteries, but if they came my way I would probably read them. There wasn't enough intrigue to make me want to find out more though. "

" This wasn't my kind of book. I listened to it as an audiobook, and the person reading had a very uneven, lurching cadence. It distracted me from a story that I'm not sure existed. I'll never know because I quit after the first two chapters. "
