Basil is one of the many puppies who live in puppy heaven. What makes him different from his peers is his curiosity with the world below, as he wonders what it would be like to leave his heavenly home behind. One day, his naughty ways brings him whirling out of puppy heaven and towards a mysterious land earth. In an unfamiliar place, he finds courage in Emmanuel, a homeless boy living his life beneath the comforts of the city. Through Emmanuel, Basil will come to realize that humility and generosity are the makings of a perfect home.
