Many people record images of their home and holidays with still or moving pictures. Within this book are two collections of images captured in words, so listeners can paint their own picture of the scene.

A Natural Year reflects the ever-changing, unchanging cycles of archetypal English countryside, as experienced in the herb gardens in Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, where land has been cultivated since Neolithic times. Memories of Cornwall takes you to the ancient coastline of that region over many summer holidays. You can play with children on the beach, watch the moon rise over the English Channel, or visit the many sacred sites within the county.

Whether listening for the sound of bees, smelling primroses or tasting snowballs, allow yourself to be transported to another place where Nature will hold you and nurture an inner peace.

" I was almost afraid to read it after reading Certain Girls. I was afraid Jennifer Weiner had run out of good writing. I shouldn't have worried though. It was classic JW wonderful. I loved it. "

" Politics and marriage are not always a good mix. Sylvia's husband, a senator, cheats and is caught. Her adult daughters have problems of their own as well. Sylvia retreats to her family home on the coast to make choices and decisions, and slowly her family comes as well. An interesting "coming-of-age" story about grown-ups facing changes. Weiner's books are usually more humorous, and I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the fun, but this story stood up well. I do like her writing and will continue to follow her books, funny or not. "

" I absolutely loved this book. It is about a woman whose senator husband had an affair and the effects that it had on the entire family. Each chapter is about one of the three women in the family; the mother and two sisters. "

" Loved it. I loved how this story had a view from the eyes of the rest of the family of an embarrassed politician. And in typical JW style, it's a quick, engrossing, easy read with fully developed characters and deep relationships. Highly recommended. "
