It is now thirty-eight months into the Tribulation. Giant horsemen ride the earth, scorching thousands with their fiery wrath. The believers in Christ, finding sanctuary in safe houses, continue to receive spiritual strength from their leader. But one of the faithful, desperate to hasten events, is secretly planning to assassinate the Antichrist, Nicolae Carpathia.

Educator and lecturer Tim LaHaye has made a lifelong study of prophecy. Jerry B. Jenkins has written four best-selling books. Their collaboration fills the Left Behind series with unforgettable apocalyptic visions and dramatic conflicts. Enhanced by Richard Ferrone's muscular narration, Assassins pulls the listener into the midst of great clashes between good and evil.

The Left Behind series is the fastest-selling Christian series ever. Each volume immediately hits best seller lists and has thrilled millions of readers worldwide. As the sixth volume, Assassins follows the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, terrifying portents of judgement appear.

" My reviews for this series will all be identical - if you're Christan - read them! If you're not - the READ THEM! This made me see the truth I thought I'd known. This going to happen and soon. Not necessarily like this but Christ is coming! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Theresa | 2/20/2014

" A great series, about relveation and the break down of the images about armegdon and how it would look and feel fro the people who are left behind and have to find a new link to god. THose left behind are sorted into camps of ideology, those who believe in god and repent and those who are disuaded by the devil and rebell against god, laws and sentiments, how will you be sorted. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Breanna | 2/2/2014

" This is great book, but I wish Tim Lahaye wasn't so descriptive in the violent parts. The assassination of the antichrist was way to detailed and so was the killing of the two witnesses.I understand that it is supposed to be the tribulation and horrible things are going to happen, but he didn't have to describe what they looked like when they got killed. That kinda wigged me out a little. "

" Assassins marks improvement in the writing style of the authors. It's less choppy and a lot smoother and with better dialogues. In this one, I liked how the authors chose to show that despite the characters being Christian, they are still human and make mistakes and have constant internal struggles. "
