Publisher Description

The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to end a family curse and save their mother. Now that the LVR (a super-secret time machine) is working, it's easy peasy. Except they didn't account for one basic rule of science: Murphy's Law if something can go wrong, it will.

The LVR crashes, with a meteor-sized hole in its roof. They've made it to 1668, but they're stuck in the middle of nowhere, without a way back home, and someone thinks they're weetches er, witches. Could it get any worse? How about when they encounter a pirate ship, a haunted castle, and two mysterious visitors one there to rescue the family, the other, mmm... not so much.

Our trusty narrator, Dr. Soup, has a ton of unsolicited advice for listeners but not a lot to say to help the Cheesemans. Just this one thing:

GOOD LUCK!

"Such a fun, and quirky-clever story! This is book two in "A Whole Nother Story" series by Cuthbert Soup. Like the first one, this book had us laughing out loud. Lots of action, adventure and even a little romance (kid-style!) as the Cheeseman family heads back in time to help some friends end a curse. Friends are made, enemies are extinguished, and a duke is rescued! I highly recommend this series. (Particularly enjoyable if you have a resident reader in-home, as we do, who can perform a Danish and Scottish accent!)"

" This book is exciting and entertains you. It continues off from the first book and they travel back in time to return a cup that has put bad luck on the family. The time machine breaks, though, and it seems home is far away. Between each few chapters is still some advice to the readers(funny). This author is good, but I liked his first book better. "

" I really enjoyed this second book that involves the adventures of the Cheeseman family. It involves the pirates that they met in the first book. They traveled back in time to return the white gold chalice that the pirates stole from the duke of jutland in denmark. Interesting new characters that have a lot of depth. "

" this sequel to "A Whole Nother Story" carries the story further, this time with a trip back to 1668. A teenage love interest is introduced and although Steve the sock puppet met his timely demise at the end of book one, never fear! Rat-face/No-face/Gravy-face Roy is here! More zany hi-jinks ensue! I'm not sure it was quite as funny as the first one, but it's possible that I just got used to his style of humor. Still had a few laugh-out-loud moments and I'd happily read Yet Another Whole Nother Story. "
