" I enjoy this series about attorney Bree who inherits her uncle's law practice, which unfortunately also includes celestial law. The cases for her earthly legal practice have a way of also including justice for someone who has passed away. Interesting series, but you have to read the first one to understand who the people are. This must be the 2nd in the series because the only case they talk about from the past is the one in the first book. "

" Book 2 in this series. I'm still enjoying the premise, and I feel like the writing is coming together a bit better. The conversations are still somewhat stilted and I don't think the main character is developed enough. As a lawyer I still say she should be asking more questions about her unique circumstances. She did, however, do a bit more of that in this book than the first one so that's something. The mystery itself was good, clues were left in all the right places and at the end was satisfying. Overall a fun read if you are looking for a light guilty pleasure, beach kind of escape. I'll definitely give the next in the series a try. "

" A sort of mixture of cozy and paranormal mystery set in Savannah, Georgia. If you like those genres or styles you will probably like this blending of the two. But the story moves rather slowly and the danger/action seems almost haphazard at times. Still, it has a unique concept and plot. "

" Wanted to continue with this series since I enjoyed the first one. This case was more complex than the first one but the characters were just as much fun. "
