"So I really liked this book. It does have a take on Supernatural but if the Winchesters had said yes on the first, maybe that's why I liked so much. Raffe wings, Penryn finding Paige, Raffe and Penryn, very dramatic, and somewhat predictable. The only thing I didn't really like was the mom. What's up with the mom? Does she really hear demons?? Well at least the second book is supposed to come out in a few months maybe all the unresolved scenarios get answered. Like what's going o happen to Paige? And what is the plan?? Are they really going to condemn Raffe for something that wasn't really his fault?? What of the other children?!"

    " Can't say that I was thrilled with this dystopian young-adult fiction, especially being a fan of the genre... the post-apocalyptic world was well-imagined but the logical pitfalls keep the reader from diving fully into the characters. Wouldn't recommend for adults but might be better for teenage readers. "

    " Wow, this book drew me in from the first page! I had the hardest time putting it down, which wasn't entirely a good thing considering I started it on the first day of a getaway weekend with my husband and read the entire book over the two days we were away. The book gets very dark at times, but also has a lot of banter between the two main characters which helps lighten the overall darkness of the story. I'll definitely be looking forward to reading the next one. "
