Freelance writer Liz Connors is receiving anonymous hate mail from some psycho. Someone she knows? When she receives the first death threat, Liz thinks it's somebody's idea of a sick joke. When they start coming weekly and grow steadily more graphic, she admits she's a little unnerved.
Still, it's not until someone breaks into her apartment and leaves behind a mutilated doll, which looks a lot like Liz, that she and her cop boyfriend, Jack Lingemann, decide the joke's gone far enough. But little do they know how close to home the danger lurks. Liz is in for a big shock when she finally confronts her would-be murderer!
