"What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? A fantastic book. Could really be described as a tragedy, really. A group of friends in post WW1 Paris who have no real ambitions in life except to drink and enjoy themselves travel to Pamplona for the running of the Bulls. Some of them seek love with each other, but are rejected for one reason or another. You can find some reason to love or hate each and every character. I won't soon forget this book."

" I believe this to be Hemingway's best novel. A really great story about a completely dysfunctional love between two people who still somehow completely understand one another. And also bullfighting and drinking. "

" Don't know is it just mine misjudgement, but I don't find this book worth reading at all. No deep thoughts, no lesson to be learned, just plane conversations. In the other hand, if you are interested in Spain and Pamplona, this is fantastic insight. :) "

" 3.5 Stars - I've only read one other book by Hemingway (The Moveable Feast). I enjoyed this less, but still found this to be a well written, interesting "read." "

" A beautiful portrait of an American expatriate living in Paris who is persuaded by his wine hungry friends to take a trip to Pamplona for the bullfights. It's a tight good read. Make sure to have a drink before reading "
