"An easy-going murder mystery set in 1805, with the main character being somewhat of a cross between Miss Marple and Jane Austen. Really enjoyed this; a fun read. "

" I have a particular fondness for the Regency era (think Jane Austen). Bellfield Hall is a Regency era mystery, which I enjoyed as a light, easy read. "

" A pleasant little mystery for a rainy Sunday. Set in regency era England, the author tried a little too hard to write in the style of Jane Austin and that generally doesn't happen. I liked it well enough to read the second book. "

" I cannot finish this book. I don't know why, but it's just not clicking with me. Read about 30% and I'm done. Maybe sometime in the future I'll give it a try again. "

" Clever plot, well written, with some irritating side plots - I can't believe she had never heard of "the love that dared not speak its name". Overall pretty enjoyable - perfect for a night when you can't sleep and you need an easy read that will keep you guessing. "

" I liked the character of Dido Kent but I kept losing track of who else was who in the story and it took me awhile to get into the story. Don't know that I'm all that interested in reading any more in the series. "
