Publisher Description

A Man to Call My Own introduces us to a charismatic pair of twins, Amanda and Marian Laton, who, after the sudden death of their father, are sent to live with their aunt on a sprawling Texas ranch. As the twin sisters—one of whom is nasty, the other nice—both find themselves pursuing Chad Kinkaid, the cowboy son of a neighboring ranching family, Lindsey skillfully charts the intoxicating course of first love—and all of love's attendant twists and turns—that ends in one of the Laton twins winning the heart of a man she can call her own.

"This is my third Lindsey novel, and the old saying "three's a charm" rings true for me here. Of the three, I definitely liked this story best. It is more of a classic romance with the misunderstandings and sexual tension to keep the pages turning."

" very short "cute" romance, it wasn't full blown out romance, it focused towards the twins troubles mostly, i didn't feel the real love was there honestly, they didn't connect enough for me, so that was a bummer for me, i flew through this book... "

" Noivel is set in the Texas Cattle ranch days. I really prefer the English settings but enjoyed this tale of city girls (twins) and their adventures in the wild Texas West. No Indians, but robberies and mayheim. A good read. "

" Cowboys, what? I've learned that turn of the 20th century is a lot sluttier than turn of the 19th. Exciting, non? Also, I really, really, really need to go west. The cowboys are optional but the landscape is not. "
