" In my opinion, it's never okay for the hero to hit the heroine. I love Linda Howard, but I did not like this book. "

" Yep, another western romance. I so love stories of tough cowboys with hardened hearts that get nailed by cupid. Even better, I like it when the bad guy gets it in the end, the hero wins the girl, and the girl make the hero grovel for all the pain he's put her through. There was only one really disappointing part of this story, but to tell you what it is will ruin the whole book. "

" while it had some decent moments -- and definitely some surprising ones, keeping it from being too routine....there were some parts of the story that were unnecessary, dragged on, and I think the story could've been told about 100 pages less and still been OK "

" I forced myself to continue reading hoping "something" might happen. I finally stopped reading when the story turned into a romance novel with "heaving bosoms and throbbing manhood"! Quite a bit of violence and rape. "
