Meanwhile, someone is poisoning foodstuffs at a local supermarket chain. When the owner receives threatening demands to pay up or be put out of business, it is up to Frost to catch the blackmailer. "Read by ever brilliant David Jason. And if that is not enough, the story is good one too, good as ever Wingfield's Forsts are. No signs of fatique can be found, no matter how this was Wingfields last book. Sharp as ever, good oldfashioned Brit police stuff. "

" I actually listened to the book on CD in my car traveling back and forth to worked. I found that I did end up liking the main character, even though I didn't want to. He just seemed to grow on me. "

" I was a bit disappointed as I had enjoyed other books about Inspector Frost. However this one went on for too long and the characters just did not ring true. I realise that this is a humorous series but even so the characters need some internal consistency. "

" This book had me laughing out loud .The quirky Frost is even quirkier and funnier in the books. What a pitty there are not many more of them in the series . "

" I enjoyed this last of the series even more, having just watched some of the BBC episodes. I wish there were more to come. "

" Long drawn out, I thought there would be more action and quicker development of plot. Left a lot to be imagined and wanted! "

" I always liked the TV show but found the books so much better. Darker, funnier and with more thought to characters and plot. This one, the last after death of author is a fitting end to the series. "

" I was really looking forward to this novel having read the others in the series a few years ago. Although enjoyable it didn't hold my interest as much as the others. Some very funny oneliners from himself though!! "

" I liked this book - it was the last in a series of books by this author (who died a couple of years ago) - and I will attempt to get the other books in the Frost series to read as well. I enjoyed his style of writing. "
