Elorie Shaw, steeped in the traditions of the Nova Scotia witching community, but not a witch. The fetching spell must have goofed this time... or did it?
Travel to Fisher's Cove, Nova Scotia, where Moira is matriarch and the old ways are nurtured and passed to the next generation. Where a crotchety old witch makes small children cry and builds walls around the silent pain in his heart. And where Elorie - sea-glass artist, inn owner, and Moira's granddaughter - makes her home. The old magics are strong here. Which is all fine and good until the fetching spell pulls Elorie into Witches' Chat. Because she's not a witch. Or at least not any kind of witch the old ways recognize...

"I have to say I truly enjoy this series. I don't what it is about this series that draws me in. I suspect it is the familiarity with the characters. You read this book feeling the love and since of belonging with them. The Hidden Witch is a great book with just the right amount of ups and downs. It will make you laugh and cry. I didn't want to put it down. In this one you follow along Elorie in her journey. She finds out that after all her wishing to be a witch growing up and it not happening, that indeed she is a witch just not the traditional kind she grew up knowing about. You see her struggle with finding her way and coming into herself and owning her new powers. You also get to really enjoy all the characters from the first book and meet a few new ones. I really can't wait to read the next and hope they keep coming!" — Delaney (5 out of 5 stars)

" I love Deborah Geary. After reading the first book in this series (A Modern Witch), I have bought each one as soon as I find it and have the money. I pretty much devour them the same day as buying even if I'm in the middle of another book. I can't wait to read these books! "
" This is a very enjoyable series. I liked that this second book has the same general cast of characters as the first but the focus is on different people. It keeps it fresh. The book borders on being too sweet at times, but it's fun, and it's a perfect feel-good read. "
" Unlike in A Modern Witch I just couldn't relate to the main character so I gave it a three star. The book itself is as well written as the first and has many of my favorite characters. I think for me it's main purpose is to introduce the very important Net Witch part of the story arc. I started book three today to see where that would take me and I am already getting sucked in... "
" This is a series where it really helps to start with the first book. I think I would have liked it much better if I hadn't felt like I was missing something. But, that was my bad! "
" Not as good as the first. The main character was annoying. But all the old characters were still in place, which was nice. "
" Next book in series, again nice story line but not necessarily a romance novel. "
" wow, so not see that coming, i do hope she is able to fine her love too, ever other person is why not her too. I do hope book three there is more love! and for the baby's to be in them too... "
" Boring..... I'm regreting buying the third in the series since I'm afraid it will be just as bad. "
" I really enjoyed it. Fun, not too deep, but inspires thinking "
" I really have liked this whole series so far. A little romance, paranormal and family relationships where everyone helps each other. Great series and I can't wait to read the others. "
" Although I was hoping the author would continue on with the story if the original character, I enjoyed the new characters and how everything worked together, especially when the original characters returned to the story line. "
" Liked it almost as much as the first book...personally Eloire didn't do much for me as a main character. I liked Lauren a lot more and really relished her constant presence here. Also enjoyed seeing all the new and old characters. I simply love the Walker family! "
" Not as enjoyable as its predecessor, A Modern Witch. Geary tends to follow the same formula but many of the characters are comfortable and still makes for light but enjoyable reading. "
" I liked this story, but often times was a bit confused. The main character was a bit whiny and would frustrate me. I loved the back story of Marcus and hope to see his full story in the future. I missed some of the characters from the first book, as their appearances were small. "
" It wasn't bad, but it was slow. Not much excitement. I did like the characters, but I didn't feel that "I need to know what will happen next" feeling while reading. "
" I have read everything that Debora has written and have not been disappointed! I have enjoyed and loved every book! I can't wait for more! "
" Two and half stars. The plot is not at all exciting, however, like in the first book warm, sappy, fuzzy moments are in an abundance. The characters are annoyingly sweet and yet, somehow still endearing. "
" I had a tough time wrapping my head around the witch chat in the first book. This book is just too unrealistic for me to like. "
" This book is one that touches the heart while still providing humor and other great content. As an avid reader, I have begun to find certain books (especially series) to be repetitive, but this author leaves you wanting more! "
" So loving this series! Different from what I usually read, but just can't step away from this "family". Sigh. "
" Okay now this series is getting weird... "
