Publisher Description

The Golden Capstone atop the Great Pyramid at Giza offered protection from the global flooding and scorching sun that occurs every 4,500 years due to the Tartarus Rotation solar event. But Alexander the Great broke the Capstone into seven pieces and hid them in the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Now, in 2006, another Tartarus Rotation is due, and whoever places the reconstructed Capstone on the pyramid in time will gain absolute earthly power. Everyone wants the Capstone - from the most powerful countries to terrorists - and one daring coalition of eight small nations who think that no single country should possess such awesome power.

"This was the first book i read by this author, and I loved it! I loved his fast paced books. I hadnt really read books like that before and it was a really exciting change for me. This really is a book you cant put down, mostly because you dont have time to catch your breath once you start reading. Its action after action that acutally is fun! This book was especially appealing because of its reference to ancient egypt!"

" Very entertaining book, definitely much better than what I expected given what I have read by Reilly before. Lots of interesting historical tidbits and I must say, the idea of Australia as the "most powerful nation on Earth" is definitely original "

" Crap, with a few good action sequences, but really poor writing and, even within this fantastical context, preposterous plot points. Didn't buy it at all, and really didn't appreciate the author's need to emphasize things with italics and exclamation points (as if we might be too dim to understand what was supposed to be exciting). Plus the consistent use of poorly-rendered pictures to help us visualize the overly complicated interiors (movie sets, really) Reilly concocts - I mean, really; what is the point in having this picture and THEN spending a paragraph describing it? Reilly's talents seem better suited for failed TV pilots and C-grade cinema than novels. I will never read another one of his books. "
