"This book is slowly, but surely, changing my life. I'm still a long way from realizing the book's full potential, but in just the first few months of having it, I have become a significantly better cook, and I'm also eating much healthier than before thanks to some awesome recipes. Eventually I'll have the time to practice the skill learning section in earnest, and I look forward to it."

" Awh, I love Tim Ferriss! The book is more about skill acquisition than cooking, but the cooking bits are fun. Includes a section about cooking bugs, acorns, and pigeons. "

" I read this because it was supposed to be a book about how to "learn" better, using cooking as the focus. I found the first 1/4 - 1/3 of the book, the part about learning, hard to follow because of all of the acronyms and mnemonics. Then it just lost its way and tried to be too much, devoting space on how to build a debris hut, how to catch and cook city pigeons, and descriptions of various types of assault rifles and collectible knives. " I liked 4 hour body better because I felt like it was over a wider range of interests. This book is definitely food focused. I still had fun reading it though and I still have high respect for Tim's way of thinking. "

" Love to take this books in bits and pieces and just sit around with it . It also has some very helpful "pullout" pages for cooking that I have on my fridge. "

" Fantastic book. Tim really breaks down cooking in to an easy to follow system that anyone can tackle. I also liked that all the cooking pictures were of Tim cooking the recipe. "

" Whoa. This is intense. It's part cookbook, part study guide, part desktop reference... I don't even know. I couldn't glean any usable information from it because it's ALL OF THE INFORMATION!!! My head almost exploded. Plus it's about 450 pages. Or something. "
