"Not quite as good as Stephanie Plum as far as witty writing, but the occasional r-rated scene makes up for it I think. :-) Why can't I read the 1st one? Why did it go out of print but the other 5 are in print? And why doesn't the local library carry any of this series? "

" We pick up here right where the last book ended and take off at frantic speed! Carlotta has 3 hunky guys (well 2, Peter doesn't do it for me) after her, her identity gets stolen, she gets to go to her own funeral..... Come on... you know you wanna see how THAT works right? "

" This was definitely better than the first book. I'm curious about a couple of the characters....so I'll keep reading the series for now. :) Isn't it interest in the characters that keeps us coming back? "

" A very light read. Carlotta continues to get herself into lots of antics with an identity theft and three strong love interests hanging in the wings. Not to mention her father who is contacting her after being on the run for 10 years. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next chapter. "

" Not sure what to expect from this book, just picked it up at the library in CD to listen on a road trip. Wish I would have had the first one to start with, but I enjoyed it. I'm a huge mystery book fan so it fit that like, not a romance reader, but luckily there was only one scene of sexualness which was enough for me. I plan to read the rest of the series. "
