Peter and Paul were close associates, and Peter had read many of Paul's writings, some of which, he says are hard to understand. Peter was a commercial fisherman, not a scholar like Paul. Nonetheless, Peter has in mind in the early 60s to write an epistle addressing a number of important issues - but he doesn't feel rhetorically equipped to do so. Enter Paul's associate, Silas. Peter says, With the help of Silas I have written this letter. And what a letter it is! In it Peter addresses salvation, grace, faith, the Trinity, atonement, and a host of other topics, any one of which would fill a library with theological books. Join Logos Bible Study's Dr. Bill Creasy as he delves into this extraordinary epistle, written by Peter, with the help of Silas.

"They always say that you should never judge a book by it's cover, and that's true. However, books having awesome covers never hurts the case. I'll admit I first picked this book up because the cover looked awesome, then I saw the title and went "hmmm this is making me think of Percy Jackson, and I did love Percy Jackson"...and I loved this book. I don't want to go into the details of this book because I don't want to give the story away! However, there is plenty of mythological references, as well as action, history and puzzles. If you liked Percy Jackson I recommend you check out this book! I'm looking forward to the next one!!!" — Elizabeth (5 out of 5 stars)

" Start to an action-packed new series that will appeal to fans of Riordan and the 39 Clues. And I predict a renewed interest in the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World nonfiction. "
" HOLY SHIT THIS BOOK IS AMAZEBALLS TO THE TENTH POWER X 12 "
" A very enjoyable book, perfect for those Percy Jackson fans. Peter and Rick share a lot of traits on how they go about writing a book. I loved it very much! "
" It was so boring. Took half of the book to get out of a cave. The other half of the book the 3 select was in a stupid fight. Serious it was one of the worse book I have ever read. "
" Great for fans of Percy Jackson. Fast paced and exciting. "
" This is a series that I would recommend for those who enjoyed the Percy Jackson series. Unfortunately, this book ended with some unresolved issues and the next book doesn't come out until August! "
" Extremely disappointing first book-just did not hit the mark for me. The plot was confusing-the story did not come together. "
" Not one of my favorites, it felt like a wannabe Percy Jackson. "
" Not as exciting as I hoped it would be. :( "
" It was an alright book. Not terribly impressed; The entire book seemed like a stage setting book. "
