For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people’s dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie’s seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime. She can’t tell anybody about what she does – they’d never believe her, or worse, they’d think she’s a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn’t want and can’t control. Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else’s twisted psyche. She is a participant…

"This book had the perfect balance of suspence, romance, and mystery. Janie, the dream catcher, falls into peoples dreams. Whenever someone around her falls asleep and has a dream she falls into it and she cant control it. This book was amazing. I just found it in a used book store and started reading. I was hooked. So I went on to reading the second book in the series which was even better. Usually the first book in a series is amazing and the next book isnt quite as good. for this series, that is not the case. They keep you interested."

" Wake by: Lisa McMann was not the best book, but I still really like it. I didn't like how sometimes the book went forward and sometimesit went backward (not literaly) Overall, I liked the plot and itwas pretty good. "
— Mina, 2/9/2014" The wake book was amazing, it made me went to dream, and seeing that her having the gift to see dreams. And i read this book twice cause its amazing "
— Mia, 1/30/2014" the book was okay, i really hated the fact they wrote it in 3rd person i mean is it that hard to write things in first person!n! "
— Anny, 1/11/2014" Adventure, young romance, with criminal law and the science of dreaming interwoven. Well developed characters. "
— Dena, 1/5/2014" This book was horrible. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is marginally better than the other two in the series. It only gets worse. It's sad too because the idea seems like such a good one. The writing is choppy, and the direction she takes the plot in is absolutely ridiculous. "
— Jessica, 1/2/2014" Actually not bad. Although I can see the writing style getting everybody's panties in a twist. I just didn't let it bother me, and it was a quick read. Good for T'giving break. "
— Caitie, 12/31/2013" Great book, I read it in less than 6 hours. Amazing what Janie has to live with, I would have given up long ago. Cabel is wonderful and I love their relationship. I can't wait to read FADE. "
— Lauri, 11/11/2013" A great book, which left me dreaming of more. The only problem I had with it was that the end was perhaps a little short, I would have liked more detail on how the 'case was closed' rather than the brief synopsis given. Although that thankfully did nothing to ruin the ingenious idea of the story. "
— Helena, 10/26/2013" Story was a little weird, but the writing was excellent. Will definitely read the trilogy. "
— Maggie, 10/24/2013" This was a good and easy ready. I like the concept however the F bomb was used too much for my liking and it was unnecessary. I will not be reading the other books because of the language :( "
— Chelsea, 10/22/2013" This was a great book. Everytime that I reccommend this series to my students, they love it as well. "
