"I really enjoyed this book because it was a thrill ride. Not only was I very eager to find out what happened to Tom next, but there were unexpected turn of events that made things very interesting. And there were also a lot of big fight scenes that I love playing out in my head. The ending had me wishing there was a fourth book to explain what happens after they all arrive safely on the other side of the Flat Trans. And that whole thing the Brenda said "It'll be a good start" and Tom's like "What's that supposed to mean?" that has me thinking that WICKED is still watching them somehow. I guess I've sort of become like Tom, paranoid. Ha. But over all great book, definitely recommend the series and I can't wait until I get my hands on the prequel."

" I am the king of flowgella! "
— Blookie Pants Moo Moo Butt,III, 12/9/2019" omg the ending, I'm out of words. And all the deaths, this such an amazing book. "
— Axel, 2/10/2014" was better then the second book. I honestly lost interest in the series after book 2 but knew i would eventually read the 3rd book to see how it all ends. it was worth it. good series over all. "
— Charlie, 2/3/2014" Better than the second. Still didn't answer much, but an enjoyable read nevertheless. "
— Michael, 1/26/2014" The third in the trilogy. I enjoyed this book, although I think Dashner left too many loose ends. I didn't even realize what had happened to one of the main characters at the end until it had happened. And I would have liked another chapter or 2 after the resolution... "
— Ashley, 1/22/2014" I loved everything.. but the resolution I DID NOT LIKE. It just seems TOO convenient that there just haPPENED TO BE A PORTAL IN THE RIGHT SPOT AT THE EXACTLY RIGHT TIME... "
— Dan, 1/20/2014" My favorite book out of the trilogy. I highly recommend it. The characters are strong and the plot has many twists. The thing about this whole trilogy is that it can happen in real life and it's frightening to think about it. "
— Bemnet, 1/19/2014" I could not have expected a better ending from this story. loved this trilogy "
